This course provides a management focused hospitality programme designed to develop awareness of and ability in corporate management. Five modules in total are studied allowing for analysis of management issues underpinning hospitality. Management in Hospitality offers a fast track BA (Hons) opportunity for Diploma or Advanced Diploma holders to study for an honours degree in one year. The programme objectives: to provide a programme of hospitality management education in order to enable graduates to analyse key academic themes in the subject area and critically evaluate the wide range of management issues within different sectors of the hospitality industry which will therefore prepare them for a successful career in the UK or overseas; to promote an ethos of self development and reflection throughout the curriculum in order to foster that greater personal awareness and confidence necessary to manage others.

The modules include TL3013 International Food and Culture, TL3018 Managing Global Hospitality, TL3050 Strategic Management in Hospitality and Tourism, TL3055 Personal and Professional Development, TL3102 Dissertation.

Students those who have attained minimum 18 years of age and they should be completed International Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Management. Relevant polytechnic or diploma qualifications will be reviewed on case to case basis. Students for whom English is not their first language must provide evidence of English Proficiency TOEFL - Paper-based test a minimum score of 550 or on IELTS with a minimum overall band score of 6.0.
