पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This programme combines a sound liberal arts curriculum with theoretical and practical courses in mass communications. It has the following general objectives: to provide educational opportunities in the fields of print media, radio and television, public relations and advertising; to allow students to build upon that theoretical foundation with practical experience in his or her field of study; and to stimulate an awareness in each student of the rights and ethical responsibilities of those working in the media.

The curriculum includes Advanced News Gathering and Writing, The Television Programme Scripting, Behavioral Science, Research Methodology, Seminar in Comparative Politics and Public Policies, Politics, Economics, America and The Future, Advertising Campaign Planning and Management, Public Relations Campaign Planning and Management, Arts and Our World, Values and Cultures, Research and Writing in the Academic Community, Management of Personal Life Styles, Environmental Science, Television Programme Production at OKCU/TV Studio.
अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता
Applicants must possess one of the following entry requirements: Advanced Diploma in Mass Communications jointly awarded by Oklahoma City University and MDIS; polytechnic diploma holders in any disciplines; or other relevant diplomas may be considered for admission on a case-by case basis. All applications are subjected to final approval by OCU. Other equivalent qualification may be considered on a case by case basis. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English Language (EL1). Failing which they are required to sit for the following entrance examinations: applicants without C6 pass in English as First Language (EL1) or its equivalent are required to score a minimum of band 6 in IELTS conducted by the British Council; or to score 213 points (computer-based), 79 points (internet-based) or 550 points (paper-based) in TOEFL. Applicants who are holding full GCE ‘A’ Level and interested in the full-time programme can enroll for the Bachelor of Arts incorporating Advanced Diploma in Mass Communications.
