This major combines general business studies with subjects including tourist and customer behaviour management, tourism research management, tourism marketing and the specifics of international tourism. JCU’s tourism programs are internationally recognized and JCU tourism graduates are offered employment throughout Australia and Asia.

A person with advanced standing may enroll for the 18-month Bachelor Degree Program if that person: holds or has completed the requirements for a relevant tertiary diploma either from SGP International Management Academy (SIMA) or from another recognized institution of higher education; or has other qualifications recognized by the faculty as equivalent to those specified in Requirement 1.1.1 and has provided the Executive Dean satisfactory evidence of sufficient and appropriate work experience. Special Cases: Graduates with relevant diploma background, but need to study additional 1 to 8 subject/s requested by JCU may gain admission into the B.Bus program through the Conditional-Structured Pathway. Acceptance of conditional-structured pathway qualification is based on individual merit and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
