This course consists of 12 units. Students have the option to enrol in either single or double majors. It is professionally recognised by Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK), Marketing Research Society of Australia (MRSA) and Advertising Federation of Australia. Graduates will be allowed to use the title BCom (Murdoch) after their names.

The core units covered are: Human Resource Management covers BUS223 Organisational Theory and Behaviour; BUS251 Employment Relations in Asia; BUS228 Workplace Law; BUS240 Organisational Development and Human Resources Management; BUS375 Human Resource Economics; BUS320 Advanced Human Resource Perspectives. Marketing covers BUS209 Marketing and Advertising Law; BUS273 Consumer Behaviour; BUS214 Marketing Management; BUS321 International Marketing; BUS335 Marketing Research and Analysis; BUS324 Services Marketing.

Applicants must have completed polytechnic Diploma; private Diploma/Advanced Diploma; CAT/ACCA. Additionally applicants admitted to the Bachelor of Commerce course may be required to undertake additional units in order to fulfil the required credit points. The final decision rests with Murdoch University; applicants are required to meet Murdoch University English language requirement.
