This programme is designed to develop students’ skills in solving business problems that are transferable organisationally and internationally across business environments. It is a broad based programme that relies to some extent on conventional methods of teaching and learning. The practical and real-life projects are introduced to enhance the learning experience and to produce graduates equipped to meet the needs of commerce and industry. It aims to equip graduates with analytical and decision-making skills relevant to career development in the wider business context. Business organisations do not exist in isolation and much of the early part of the programme is focused on understanding the various external driving forces for change and the internal responses necessary for business to survive and prosper. The programme provides a blend of theoretical and practical study, never losing sight of employers' requirements and students' career aspirations.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता
Students with the following qualifications will be assessed by the Institute's Board of Studies and may be granted advanced standing up to one year (for direct entry into Year 2 of the programme): they should have completed MISTC Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management (DSMM); or MISTC Diploma in Business Management (DBM); or MISTC Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management (ADMM); or business-related diplomas from local polytechnics; or other related diploma plus Advanced and/or Higher Diploma in business are considered on a case-by-case basis. International students should have obtained an GCE 'O' or 'AO' pass in English; or English language requirement for international students whose first language is not English: IELTS score of 6.0 / TOEFL score of 550 / GCSE Grade C / TOEFL IB TOEFL score of 80 / MISTC EL4 score 80 per cent and above; or students with MISTC EL4 below 80 per cent will be required to attend six months of business English course during their first year of the degree programme. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Singapore.
