This programme combines the traditional elements of a foundation "arts and design studio" taught during the first year with innovative development in "new media" disciplines to offer new opportunities for students taking up this course. The courses incorporate contemporary arts, design and media studies with an emphasis on studio practice in Product Design. It reflects a breadth of interests that is relevant both regionally and globally and embraces many of the key areas in cultural and historical studies that are relevant to product design today. Honors are conferred to students who have completed the degree with a high level of academic performance. The objective of the Course is to produce designers who will emerge as important prime movers in the design of products, right from the "every day" objects to complex industrial products.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students will be taking Year 12 national examinations in the year of application in order to be considered for admission and must have completed at least 12 years of general education or equivalent. Submission of IELTS, TOEFL and SAT1 scores are optional except for students with PRC Gao Kao qualification (i.e. students who will be taking Gao Kao in June 2012 and those who have already taken Gao Kao). Scores should be obtained three years prior to the application deadline. Students from India should have obtained Standard XII Qualification and from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Singapore.
