This programme is designed to focus on providing an broad-based and strong business foundation for a range of careers in business and administrative management; developing the knowledge and skills of students in the field of business, management and business related discipline; providing opportunities for students to develop a range of skills and techniques and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to demonstrate the following skills: understanding of basic concepts and theories of business, management, human resource management, marketing and accounting; synthesis of a range of concepts, knowledge and skills relating to business and management; application of business and management knowledge and skills to practical, realistic work situations.

Applicants should normally satisfy the following minimum academic requirements: have completed two GCE 'A' level passes or grade 12 equivalent qualification with a 'O' level pass in Chinese; three GCE 'O' level passes or grade 10 with a pass in Chinese and at least one year of working experience; five 'N' level passes with a pass in Chinese and at least two years of working experience. Those with equivalent qualifications may be admitted on the condition that they are proficient with Chinese.
