This programme is designed to focus on the artistic side of games and aims to nurture talents who are keen to seek employment in the interactive entertainment industry. Students in this programme gain an insight into what is involved in a typical game development cycle, from conceptualizing game ideas to deployment of the completed products, focusing especially on the design and artistic aspect. This programme trains students with the right skill sets to enter the interactive entertainment workforce. Graduates will be able to join the workforce as game designer, level designer, concept artist, 2D/3D game artist, modeler and animator. In the first year, students will focus on building a strong foundation in principles, techniques and skills. Topics covered range from 2D drawing and animation techniques, design principles to conceptualizing and conveying game ideas. In the second year, students will go in depth into character and environment design, 3D modeling and animation techniques and advanced topics in game designing. In the final year, students will work on game projects with local and international companies.

Students from Malaysia, should have SPM/UEC: candidates must have the following minimum results taken at not more than two sittings of the SPM/UEC Examination: Grade A+ to C / 1 to 6 in Bahasa Inggeris; A+ to C / 1 to 6 in Elementary, Additional or Advanced Mathematics; A+ to C / 1 to 6 in any other three subjects. To be eligible for selection, students must also have sat for at least one of the following subjects: Art; Biology; Chemistry; Physics; Pendidikan Seni [Art (Graphic)]. Chinese students need to have completed National College Entrance Examination Certificate qualifications with at least five points above Tier 2 score line. Indian, Indonesian and Vietnamese students should have Standard 12 qualifications. Students from Myanmar should have BEHS Certificate. Other international students need to have International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) or national examination at Standard 12.
