The course will equip graduates with expertise in green and sustainable technologies, clean energy, energy management solutions, smart grids and power systems engineering and electrical systems design; and conversant in business and management practices; expertise to exploit and harness new smart technologies for new business developments and opportunities; real-life industry project experience developing innovative green and sustainable technology products and systems; international exposure and experience through the Overseas Industrial Attachment and Overseas Immersion Programme. Eco-Design empowered Electrical Engineering graduates are in high demand and they can look forward to exciting, rewarding and successful careers in the fast growing market for sustainable eco-friendly engineering and business solutions across the wide spectrum of industry. Graduates may be employed as Business/Energy Manager; Sustainable Solutions Engineer; Sustainable Design Specialist; Energy Solutions Designer; Energy/Electrical Professional; Energy Management Executive; Facility Management Manager/Engineer; R and D Professional; Operations Engineer; Technopreneur and Entrepreneur.

Students from Malaysia should should have the following SPM/UEC Examination at not more than two sittings: A+ to C / 1 to 6 in Bahasa Inggeris, A+ to C / 1 to 6 in elementary, additional or advanced in Mathematics, and A+ to C / 1 to 6 in any three other subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). Chinese students need to have completed National College Entrance Examination Certificate qualifications with at least five points above Tier 2 score line. Indian, Indonesian and Vietnamese students should have Standard 12 qualifications. Students from Myanmar should have BEHS Certificate. Other international students need to have International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) or national examination at Standard 12.
