This programme is designed to help students achieve their goal of becoming a fashion merchandiser, apparel merchandiser or simply finding a career in fashion management. They will learn how to track and analyse market trends, prepare sales projections and study sales numbers to determine the product direction that manufacturers put out each season. Students are also exposed to textile fundamentals and sewing skills to help them better understand the fashion business from the designer’s perspective. Graduates of the programme may find careers as Fashion Designer, Fashion Journalist, Costume Designer, Fashion Illustrator, Fashion Photographer, Fashion Stylist, Fashion Merchandiser, Pattern Cutter or Drafter, Textile Designer, Teacher, Wardrobe Officer, Fashion Buyers, Fashion Marketers, Fashion Entrepreneurs, Event Management, and Retail Management.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Applicants are required to pass in the admission test/audition. The general requirement is Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level with at least four grade-C6 or better grade subjects, excluding English language, or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or Certificate, or relevant Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Nitec qualifications with GPA 2.5 and above may apply. Apart from the above general requirements International applicants from India should have obtained Secondary School Certificate (Year 10), including a passing grade of 50 and above for English from The Central Board of Secondary Education Examinations (CBSE). Applicants from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Singapore. Also they should demonstrate their English language proficiency with Grade C6 or better in the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level English Language, or TOEFL score of 500 or better, or IELTS Band 5 or higher, or a pass in NAFA English Admission Test, or qualifications equivalent to any of the above.
