This program aims to equip students with knowledge and skills to make significant contributions to health and professional nursing practice. The course is structured to prepare students to function competently as registered nurses in various healthcare settings. It is designed to develop nurses who are committed to excellence in the care they provide, and to their continuing professional development. Graduates will be equipped to apply the knowledge gained in nursing, biological and behavioral sciences to nursing practice; use a problem solving approach to provide holistic and individualized nursing care; and pursue ongoing educational and professional development. They may find career opportunities in hospitals, polyclinics, specialist clinics, and organizations involved in clinical trials and research. It provides graduates with the basis for further studies and specialisation in nursing at the School of Health Sciences and universities abroad. The School offers post registration programmes at an advanced diploma level in the disciplines of critical care, community health, emergency, gerontology, management, medicalsurgical and mental health nursing, midwifery, nephrourology, neuroscience, ophthalmic, oncology, operating theatre, orthopaedic and paediatric nursing.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students from Malaysia should have completed SPM/UEC. They need to have the following SPM/UEC Examination at not more than two sittings: 1-6 in Bahasa Inggeris, 1-6 Mathematics (elementary, additional or advanced), and 1-6 in biology, chemistry, physics and general science. Chinese students need to have completed National College Entrance Examination Certificate qualifications with at least five points above Tier 2 score line. Indian, Indonesian and Vietnamese students should have Standard 12 qualifications. Other international students need to have International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) or national examination at Standard 12.
