The course has been designed to provide an opportunity for young school leavers who do not have an 'A' level or 12 years of basic education. It provides the students with tertiary level education before progressing into the diploma or degree programme. The course has modules that would equip individuals with knowledge for further study. The modules offered are a combination of Computing and business subjects that would provide a general perspective before progressing into a specialized academic qualification. Students will develop a better understanding of the business environment and equip themselves with practical skills to appreciate the use of computers in the Business and Information Technology. On successful completion graduates can progress to the Diploma programmes in either Accounting, Business or Computing or can seek employment in trainee roles in the computing, accounting or business functions.

The course modules covered are Statistics and Numerical Methods, Fundamentals of Computing, Business Communications, Business Organisation, Accounting Principles, Introduction to Marketing, IT and Business Applications.

Students must be minimum 15 years old and should have attained partial GCE 'N' or 'O' levels or have obtained 10 years of basic education. They are also expected to have intermediate level 2 of Professional Certificate of English awarded by FTMSGlobal Academy or equivalent or IELTS score of 5.0/TOEFL (paper-based) > 500 or TOEFL (computer-based) > 173; any other equivalent English qualifications.
