In this course students have the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds and excel at them. They learn skills and knowledge in both business operations and infocomm technology which covers PC maintenance, server administration, computer networking, database administration, software development, enterprise resource planning and business principles. The graduates may be employed by government departments, private sector companies and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to prepare themselves by upgrading their technical skills and knowledge through higher-level courses.

Students must have completed GCE 'O' level passes in English language (grade 1-8), mathematics (grade 1-7 elementary or additional) and approved science subject (grade 1-8) or GCE 'N(A)' level passes with grade 1-4 in English language and mathematics; and three other subjects (grade1-5) and a total of 19 points or less for English, mathematics and three other subjects (ELMAB3).
