This programme emphasizes the practical application of knowledge, concepts and skills relevant to the workplace, especially in marketing, finance, and project and quality management. Students will gain the abilities and personal qualities needed for career development. The programme is designed to prepare students for their final year undergraduate studies, use popular software packages, use a range of specialized engineering packages, build and test digital electronic circuits, write computer programs in modern computer languages, and learn the concepts of modern engineering.

The modules include E2001 Programming in C++, E2003 Electronics, E2004 Computer Organisation and Architecture, E2005 Digital and Analogue Devices Circuit, E2006 Electrical and Electronic Principles II, E2007 Analytical Methods for Engineers, E2010 Project Management, E2011 Engineering Science, E2013 Project, E2014 Microprocessor-Based System, E2015 Data Communications and Networks, E2017 Engineering Design and Simulation.

Students to be considered for entry into the programme must have completed International Diploma in Computer Engineering, or should be polytechnic diploma holders, or any other qualifications deemed suitable by Informatics. Also students for whom English is not their first language must provide evidence of English Proficiency.
