This programme is designed for individuals wishing to gain advanced management skills and expertise. It is aimed at people with experience who wish to develop themselves as effective managers. The programme includes the opportunity for students to extend their study to meet specific career requirements by taking one of the specialist awards. The specialisms provide with a deeper understanding of the application of a specific discipline. The programme offers general coverage of the key management disciplines - people skills, economics, marketing, accounting, finance, and project management. The capstone Strategic planning course develops strategic thinking and the ability to recognise and use the various tools and techniques of the other core courses to identify and solve a wide range of business problems. The programme objectives are: to understand the business environment and the influence of both consumers and micro and macro influences that shape the industry; to understand the role of different cultures in shaping national, regional and global business practice; to develop in graduates, both within the business curriculum and in the context of their degree programme, a range of transferable skills appropriate to employers needs; to develop analytical and evaluative skills. Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to seek management trainee, junior management or supervisory positions in any business establishment. Possible careers in this field as: Office Manager, Administrative Manager, Human Resource Manager and Small Business Owner.

Applicants should have completed a bachelor degree or a recognized equivalent qualification and they must have at least five years of managerial experience. They should also demonstrate their proficiency in English with minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent.

East Asia Institute of Management’s rise to current prominence as one of Singapore‘s Top Private Education organization, began 25 years ago in 1984 was founded in 2001. As a training and consultancy outfit back then, dedicated to the provision of trained IT software professionals for the Republic's burgeoning IT industry, the success of this pioneering endeavor quickly led to the company's expansion into Information Technology and Management (ITM) Associates in 1989, in tandem with, and response to, the upgrading of the national economy into a high-tech and high value-adding economy. The Balestier campus is among the largest single location private education facility in Singapore, with a land area of 18,000 sq metres and built-up area of more than 37,000 sq metres. It is also fully equipped to meet the learning and recreational needs of up to 6,000 enrolled students. New state-of-the-art facilities will include 60 classrooms and mini-lecture theatres; one students’ learning centre; library; one computer and language laboratory; videoconference room; admin office floor; postgraduate resource centre; hospitality training centre; multi-purpose hall; two badminton courts; three basketball courts; one cricket pitch; two tennis courts; a running track; a fitness gym; and a pool and games room. Besides the new Balestier campus, EASB has plans for another campus in Henderson with a capacity for 2,500 enrolled students. It will be used to house the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) Asia Campus in Singapore. With a widely expanded portfolio of programmes, solid infrastructure of regional offices, an up-to-date fully equipped campus, a newly established hostel facility and the accumulated managerial expertise of private sector education, EASB is poised for a new phase of rapid growth.
