This programme is designed for those with no previous industry work experience wanting to gain a higher qualification in the field of tourism and hospitality studies. It offers a variety of hotel and tourism units that allows students to study in a range of specialist fields including: tourism management, hotel administration, and business event e programme combines practical tuition with academic theory to enhance and broaden skills acquired during the course of the degree, and enable students to gain an understanding of the nature and requirements of the tourism business environment.

Applicants must possess one of the following entry requirements: a recognised bachelor's degree from a recognised institution or demonstrate academic or professional standing considered by the University to be the equivalent to the requirement can be considered on a case-to-case basis. Other equivalent qualification may be considered on a case by case basis. All applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language. Those who do not meet the English requirements are required to achieve a minimum overall band of 6.0 in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with no less than 5.5 in any band; or score 213 points (computer-based) or 550 points (paper-based) in the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with no less than 4.5 in the Essay Rating; or score 79 points in the internet-based TOEFL with no less than 22 in writing; or equivalent.
