पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
In this course students learn to install, test and maintain audio visual, lighting and sound equipment and systems used in the creative and performing arts sector. The graduates are employed by manufacturers and companies dealing in audio and visual, lighting and sound systems that are required for both outdoor and indoor events in the creative and performing arts industry. In addition, it is expected their skills and knowledge would be highly sought after in the MICE and hospitality sectors. Some of the job titles held by Nitec in Electrical Technology (Lighting and Sound) graduates include electrical, lighting and sound technician, theatre technician, studio technician, AV specialist, stage technician, rigging and trussing specialist and AV technician.

Students must have completed GCE 'O' level grades 1-8 in any two subjects or GCE 'N' level passes with grade A-D or 1-5 in English language and two other subjects. They must ensure that they do not suffer from colour-appreciation deficiency.
