पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
In this course students become an expert in installing, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting installations, electrical control circuits, electrical equipment and systems in domestic premises, commercial buildings and industrial plants. The graduates are employed by government departments, statutory boards, electricity generation, transmission and distribution companies, manufacturing plants, and companies dealing in M and E consultancy services, electrical engineering works and building services. Some of the job titles held by Nitec in Electrical Technology (Power and Control) graduates include electrical technician, electrical installation technician, electrical power technician, electrical equipment, manufacturing technician and electrical draughtsman. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to prepare themselves by upgrading their technical skills and knowledge through higher-level courses.

Students must have completed GCE 'O' level grades 1-8 in any two subjects or GCE 'N' level passes with grade A-D or 1-5 in English language and two other subjects. They must ensure that they do not suffer from colour-appreciation deficiency.
