In this course students become skilled specialist in installing, testing and servicing computer equipment which include microcomputer system, computer peripheral equipment and microcomputer-based equipment. The graduates are employed by organizations and companies that manufacture electronic and computer equipment. There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to prepare themselves by upgrading their technical skills and knowledge through higher-level courses.

Students must have completed GCE 'O' level grades 1-8 in any two subjects or GCE 'N' level passes with grade A-D or 1-5 in mathematics or science and two other subjects. Students must ensure that they do not suffer from colour-appreciation deficiency.
