This program aims to provide participants with knowledge about the hospitality and tourism industry. Students would have undergone broad-based curriculum for a career change and possibly, to be used for further study, which make them highly versatile. Being groomed for junior executive positions, they can choose to work in many service sectors from arts to leisure, from hospitality to recreation, in fact any tourism-related business. The graduate may find employment with the civil service, hotels, country clubs, resorts, food service businesses, cruise, events management, entertainment promoters, exhibition and convention companies, tour operators, museums, national tourism organizations, retail and leisure attractions. This course is targeted at those who are keen to join the hospitality and tourism industry but lack the related knowledge or formal education in the industry subject areas.
