If you wish to gain a formal qualification to gain entry to a Higher Education Diploma or Degree course in Nursing, Midwifery or Occupational Therapy. To gain the Access to HE Diploma in Nursing you will need to achieve the following combination of credits: English: 3 mandatory units Maths: 3 mandatory units Study Skills: 2 mandatory units I.T: 1 mandatory unit Health Science: min 4 units Sociology of Health, Nursing studies, Psychology and Additional Health Sciences: min 6 units 1 additional unit from any of the above total 20 units.
