This course content covers biology, psychology, English and maths as well as health studies and sociology. It will provide participants with the skills required to pursue a place at university in related healthcare and nursing programmes. It covers modules that include: cell biology, genetics, human health and disease, coordination and control, reproduction, skeleton and muscle, cardiovascular system, nutrition and digestion, medical conditions, complementary therapies, child development and health living.
