Introductory programme includes: External financial reporting; practical, behavioural and organisational aspects of internal management; financial planning and control; introduction to microeconomics and macroeconomics; business law.
Honours programme develops a critical understanding and an analytical approach to subjects directly relevant to accountancy including core set of advanced units comprising: further study of external reporting; taxation; advanced financial accounting; information systems; auditing; applied management accounting and quantitative methods; 6 further units are chosen from a list including: accounting and management; advanced taxation; business finance and security markets; financial management; advanced financial accounting theory; international accounting; public sector accounting; financial regulation; financial statement analysis; international finance; critical accounting.
