Accounting information recording techniques and decision-making tools are introduced in the 1st level accounting course; by the end of the 1st year students are able to appreciate the accounting needs of small and medium sized businesses; students are also introduced to financial valuation, investment appraisal and financial markets in the first level finance course.
कार्यक्रमका खाकाहरू
Level 1: Financial accounting; management accounting; accountancy for business: non-specialist course, open to students not intending to go further with accountancy, but would like to develop financial awareness relevant for a business career; economics and management courses for students intending to pursue accountancy career. Level 2: Financial accounting 2; management accounting 2; business statistics and finance; business law course; range of optional courses including personal finance and investment. Level 3 and Level 4 (Honours): MA (Accountancy): accounting systems; auditing; management accounting 3; financial accounting 3; taxation; MA: comprises courses specified, and other courses on specialist aspects of the subject. All students complete a dissertation; opportunity to study courses in other departments, or choose from some of the finance courses such as international finance management, corporate finance or derivatives and treasury management.
