Accounting and finance enables students to develop the skills and expert judgement for financial measurement and presentation together with an understanding of the legal framework regulating operational practice; accounting is concerned with the measurement and disclosure of financial information; accountants have a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information given to private individuals, managers, investors, regulators, decision makers and the public; all students of Spanish take compulsory modules in Spanish language, including: composition; translation; comprehension; oral; in addition students choose non-language modules from a range of options which is largely modern in emphasis; modules in the language of current affairs and business are also available.
