The degree programme encourages students to explore links between the fields of accounting and finance and computer science; this degree encompasses study of the key elements of both accounting and finance, including study of preparation of information for companies' external and internal reporting requirements, financial strategy and investment management; this degree also involves study of the key parts of the computer science discipline, including programming, web technology and systems architecture.Year 1: Core modules; introduction to accounting and finance; introductory computing for combined majors; principles of economics; human computer interaction; languages and compilation. Year 2: Core modules; principles of financial accounting; group project; software project management; software design; statistical methods for business; management accounting for business decisions; principles of finance. Year 3: Core modules; financial accounting 1; financial accounting 2.
