This established course is designed to meet the demands of industrial organisations of the 21st century by engaging in multidisciplinary engineering skills and knowledge transfer; students collaborate on live projects with leading companies; gain advanced engineering knowledge and design skills through the in-depth study of cutting-edge technologies; increase their potential to become a leading professional in the fields of engineering or product design; explore research interests allied to extensive research activities within the subject area; working with experienced designers, engineers and technologists, students work on a number of projects both theoretical and practical; students enjoy access to a number of high quality manufacturing and prototyping systems and develop their potential as a future manager and technologist in the area of engineering product design.
