This course covers major computing topics such as systems analysis, programming, web design, databases and computer architecture plus a variety of more specialised subjects; students also develop their personal and professional skills and undertake an individual project; this is a substantial piece of work requiring them to investigate a problem, understand its context, and design, develop and test a suitable solution.

Year 2: Project management; project; human computer interface; learning in the workplace 2; work-based learning; optional units: e-commerce principles and practice; multimedia; or advanced database topics; end user support; computing solutions; visual programming; object oriented programming; object oriented design; operating systems; communicating around the world.
