This programme aims to offer knowledge and expertise for academic research and teaching or for a career in the media and communications industries; all students are required to attend and pass 2 modules which run in the 1st year of study: methods and approaches in postgraduate research in semester 1, and contemporary cultural and social theory in semester 2.
