The course includes: � personal and professional development in health and social care, � health psychology, � sociology, � developing effective communication in health and social care, � caring for children and young people, and � anatomy and physiology. You will carry out at least two different work placements and some of your coursework will be based on these experiences. These may be in a variety of care settings, such as: � elderly persons homes, � day care, � primary school support, and � residential or day care with people with disabilities.
