This course is designed to give you further knowledge of a range of disciplines and a broad spectrum of skills in the Art and Design sector, in order to help you realise your potential and discover in which area you wish to specialise. The majority of learners, after completion, will move onto Higher Education, usually in the form of a university degree course. During the ‘Exploratory’ stage you will experience a wide range of working methods such as; Drawing, Sculpture, Painting, Photography and Graphic Design as well as Contextual Studies. The ‘Pathway’ stage is where you will specialise in the media of your choice. Finally the ‘Confirmatory’ stage is the development and production of your final major project, culminating in an exhibition of your work.
