The HND course is designed to give students over the age of eighteen the necessary skills to gain employment in the broad field of Art and Design. The course guides you towards producing a professional standard portfolio. You can use this to progress to a full degree in your specialism or on the job market if you choose to end your studies at HND level. What you get from this course is that it provides the technical knowledge for the Art industries, can progress to a full BA Hons after the course has finished and also a varied set of units and teaching and learning methods.

160 UCAS points or equivalent, GCSE English Language grade C or above, IELTS of at least level 5.5 for international students, an existing art portfolio that shows an ability to progress to level 5. Students over the age of 21 years may be admitted to the course without the above qualifications subject to an initial assessment and interview by the Course Tutor.
