The MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility is the first MBA of its kind in the UK; students take the following core modules in order to develop their knowledge and skills in fundamental management disciplines within the context of issues relating to corporate social responsibility (e.g. accountability, governance, globalisation, etc.).

Accounting and finance; business ethics; corporate governance and social accountability; corporate social responsibility; management information systems; business economics; managing people; marketing; operations management; strategic management; elective modules: finance; entrepreneurship; business ethics; corporate social responsibility; operations management; risk and insurance; French, German, Spanish and Japanese are offered as non-examined options for students who wish to advance their business language skills; a fundamental part of the student's development as a manager is participation in group work; the approach to management training is that the most effective way to accelerate learning and management skills is to work with talented peers from many different professional and cultural backgrounds, combined with close interaction with the academic staff; students are asked to choose to write and be assessed on either a management projecton a business topic of their choice, or a group manageemnt project (with an individual critique/analysis); the MBA includes the opportunity of an internship: experience can make a big difference to the student's post-MBA career, many organisations use internships to assess the potential of new employeese; the Nottingham internship enables the student to work on a project in the UK or overseas.
