Students study time is split equally between each subject; on the business management programme students study how private, for-profit organisations operate within economic markets; on the sociology part of the course students looks at how people engage with businesses, government and other institutions as citizens, as consumers and as employees and examine the impact of social policy on power, autonomy, poverty and inequality; students think critically about the relationship between business and the state and how it affects peoples� lives.
