This course integrates both academic and work-based learning and is broadly equivalent to the first two years of an honours degree. It covers subjects that include: mathematics 1 and 2, construction materials, introduction to computer aided design and ICT, health, safety and the law, civil engineering, site surveying, civil engineering management and applications, structural analysis and design 1, fluid technology, civil engineering surveying procedures, structural analysis and design for construction and geotechnics.
