All engineering students follow a general course for the first 2 years, and may specialise later.

Terms 1-6: Civil, mechanical, electronic and electrical engineering; drawing; computer aided design; engineering applications; design projects; mathematics; introduction to management techniques. Terms 6-12: Either specialisation in 1 branch of engineering (civil, electrical, electronic, manufacturing, mechanical, systems) or an electro mechanical option; project; industrial experience: students are encouraged to spend part of each long vacation in industry.
