This course focuses on the relationship between brain function and the cognitive, perceptual and motor mechanisms which underpin behaviour; learners study computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience and human imaging; computational neuroscience uses neuroscientific data to construct computational models of brain function; cognitive neuroscience and human imaging relate cognitive and behavioural function to its underlying neural substrate; students develop a broad and critical understanding of these related fields, along with an appreciation of different approaches to understanding brain function.
