The Foundation Degree in Commercial Fashion is a vocationally oriented qualification run by Truro and Penwith College in partnership with the University of Plymouth. Although fashion design will be explored as part of the fashion process this is not a fashion design course but is designed to equip students with the specialist commercial skills and knowledge increasingly required to work both independently and for a range of organisations related to the fashion industry. Fashion is an immensely varied and multifaceted area of work where creative, commercial and organisational skills can be explored and consolidated.

Equivalent GCSE Level: Normally English and Maths at Grade C or above. Together with one of the following: A minimum of 60 tariff points at A Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification, Access to Higher Education: Considered on an individual basis, Other: Applications from mature students without academic credentials will be considered on an individual basis, National and Advanced Diplomas in a relevant subject are accepted as a progression to a Foundation Degree and HND. Students will be required to attend an interview and produce a portfolio.
