This programme has been designed with the career development needs of practitioners in mind, but is suitable for anyone with an interest in the learning and teaching of mathematics; through an in-depth study of mathematics teaching and learning, with strong links to research findings and theory, participants are challenged to think deeply about and better understand children�s learning and their own professional roles and contexts; links are made to current policy and government initiatives, and there are opportunities to critically evaluate current trends and practices in mathematics education.
