Course is designed for those currently employed as teacher assistants who wish to improve their qualifications and knowledge and understanding of the job; this course is offered at the Salisbury campus.

कार्यक्रमका खाकाहरू

Year 1: Learning in the workplace: developmental learning; the curriculum (foundation to end of secondary); the reflective practitioner (the learning environment); self esteem and learning; inclusion; the reflective practitioner (inclusion in practice). Year 2: Literacy and numeracy in action; learning in the workplace (individuals as learners); the reflective practitioner (partnerships with parents and the wider community); work-based learning (working with colleagues); either working with children with special educational needs, or a focus on the support in a specific age/phase or key stage; the reflective practitioner (action research study linked to chosen route).
