During this course, students will develop and explore drawing, media, research skills, fashion illustration, design trends, presentation and CAD with the freedom to express their creativity. Pattern cutting, garment manufacture, moulage, toile creation, CAM and fabric appreciation will ensure that they are able to conceive their designs from the platform of a solid technical and aesthetic understanding. Contextual studies and marketing units will allow them to explore cultural and contemporary fashion issues, providing them with a rich knowledge and insight to underpin their design philosophy and commercial awareness.
