The program of study is designed to give students a thorough understanding of marketing concepts; business strategies; and career opportunities in the ever-changing; fast-paced fashion industry; educational aims are: to offer students a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of fashion marketing with a strong emphasis on fashion promotion; develop an understanding of contemporary issues surrounding fashion marketing and promotion within the fashion industry and within its wider contexts; encourage students to develop as independent thinkers and to review; reflect upon and evaluate their own work in relation to fashion marketing and the creative industries; enable students to develop individual strengths and interests; develop students� theoretical; practical and transferable skills to enable them to pursue professional careers in fashion marketing or on post-graduate courses.
