You will develop skills in fashion styling, promotion and branding. The course involves industry-based practice and you will learn contemporary technical skills and techniques, industry awareness and commerciality. This offers you the best opportunities to secure employment in this ever-competitive global industry.
You will complete a selection of relevant fashion design and manufacture modules, widening your skills and increasing your adaptability and employability. You will work closely with the fashion industry and projects are relevant to 'real world' scenarios. The course involves national and international competitions, live projects and student negotiated placements, industry and guest speaker visits. You will have extensive, digital training using industry standard software ensuring you can visualise your work and ideas to a professional level.
The programme includes personal professional development, work-related learning, route and specialist modules, covering:
- fashion promotion,
- working in the digital environment,
- fashion branding,
- visual studies,
- fashion and editorial styling,
- visual merchandising,
- pattern drafting,
