For students who have the ambition to work in the field of Computing and Information Technology at a senior level. A two year degree programme validated by London South Bank University covering a wide range of subject areas which will prepare you for the developments in the computing industry. In your first year, you will establish essential skills in software engineering, systems design, computer architecture, business systems and mathematics. We will support you to find an appropriate placement in the summer holiday between Years 1 and 2. This will give you valuable industrial or commercial experience, which will stand you in good stead for your future career. Course contents in Year 1: Business Environments, Discrete Mathematical Techniques, Socio-Technical Analysis of Requirements, i-Culture, Software Development for Business, Information Presentation, Media, Computers and Networks, Constructing and Developing Applications, Developing Business Applications, Professional Skills (Summer Placement, followed by assessment completed before start of Year 2); Year 2: Systems Design Techniques, Computing Platform Technologies, Dynamic Business Systems, Business Database Systems, Web Design Development, Research and Development Methods.

120 UCAS Tariff points in one of the following qualifications and Level 2 Maths and English qualifications. Applicants without Level 2 Maths and English qualifications must pass an entry test at the College. 1 GCE A2 Pass BTEC National or AVCE double.
