This is an exciting and inspiring design-based course that gives you the opportunity to explore contemporary graphic design. Your learning will be enhanced by a range of challenging modules, taught by a committed professional team who focus on the importance of creative thinking and will provide you with a strong insight into the design industry. Creativity is the key ingredient and you will bring your ideas to life to develop an imaginative and successful portfolio of work.
The course content will include:
- ideas and concept development,
- marketing strategies,
- corporate branding,
- cultural studies,
- advertising, and
- digital application.
Close links with industry are maintained through live briefs set by agencies and clients, specialist speakers and competitions, and the course is enhanced by extensive contacts for work placement, locally, nationally and overseas.
The course is designed to be commercially relevant and many students have work produced commercially leading to employment within high level and established consultancies or freelance contracts within their own creative enterprises.
