This course equips the participant for life in the ever-expanding tourism and hospitality environment. By developing transferable management skills and disciplines including business planning and control, marketing, human resource management and project management – as well as hospitality-specific expertise in the areas of food and beverage operations and tourism and hospitality promotion, development and sustainability. Participants will study the following areas: academic and professional skills, personal development planning 1 module, understanding tourism as a business, business enterprise, marketing principles, understanding food and beverage operations, managing people, tourism and hospitality development and sustainability, etc.
