*This programme is currently not recruiting � please contact the department for further information.*This 1-year degree provides high quality training in research methods within the broad field of health, healthcare and related social science disciplines; the degree is of particular relevance to health, social and voluntary sector professionals keen to enhance their careers through the acquisition of advanced methodological skills and to students who wish to use such skills as a foundation for PhD study; the MRes in health research can thus be completed as a qualification in itself or as the 1st stage in a 4r-year PhD programme.
