The course studies the hospitality and tourism industry and its operations. Also students study Italian, equipping students for a wide range of future careers working with language. Students have a variety of opportunities to learn about important aspects of the cultures of other countries, students are able to do this in language classes, specialised cultural classes and intercultural classes.

Hospitality and Tourism: Year 1: Basic concepts, issues and operational features of hospitality; tourism; cultural heritage; festivals; events. Year 2: Classes concentrate on management theories relevant to hospitality and tourism and expose students to current challenges faced by managers. Year 3: Students will be exposed to a range of research and project-based methods of analysis through choosing to participate in a field visit, or select an industry-based project to work on, according to their interests and preferences. Year 4: Hospitality management; tourism management; a combination of both, or joint Honours with another.
