Interaction design covers a wide range of skills and activities; it covers the study of how people interact with products, environments, services and systems and is also responsible for identifying and mediating relationships between people and products, environments and people and services in a wide variety of contexts; the course involves a variety of multi-disciplinary skills and approaches in the planning, conception, design, implementation, and support of interactive products, services, environments, and systems that meet human needs and wishes; the course has a particular concern for the social, cultural and emotional factors on the one hand, and technical and economic factors on the other; the common link in this course is a people-centered design philosophy, which focuses on exploring real people's needs and desires in the context of everyday living.
