This course endeavours to provide participants with the opportunity to acquire a broad base of marketing or international marketing knowledge and a critical understanding of it. At the same time, an understanding of the impact of the media and broader contemporary communication issues underpin many of the units that students will follow. It covers in year one: fundamentals of marketing, consumer and audience psychology, communication, culture and behaviour, integration of communications, advertising and PR, work based learning, and emerging global themes; and in year two: branded and consumer marketing, international marketing communications, planning and launching new products, customer communication and loyalty, academic and professional research, digital communication strategies. Successful graduates will be well-equipped to enter a wide range of Marketing and Marketing-related positions across a number of industries and organisations. Students with the appropriate level of qualification may also apply to progress onto the BA (Hons) Marketing Communication at Bournemouth University , subject to places being available.

IELTS - If English is not your first language, a minimum of IELTS (Academic) 6.5, or TOEFL 570 (paper based), or TOEFL 90 is normally required. A telephone interview may also be necessary.
